With its black Cerakote finish, rocks and road debris can't chip or ding this hitch, so rust doesn't stand a chance. Plus, it comes with a stainless steel double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a stainless steel 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 hitch with two ball mount for your three inch trailer hitch receiver. This 180 hitch is gonna slide into your three inch receiver and it's going to give you a two inch and a two and 5/16th inch double-sided stainless steel tow ball, making switching tow ball sizes very easy for you so you can tow trailers of different types, whether it be a smaller utility trailer, a camper, or a boat trailer. This dual functionality is going to eliminate the need for you to have multiple hitches. And when you have the shank in this orientation, it's going to give you a maximum drop of six inches.
And then when you flip it over, a maximum rise of seven inches with a incremental adjustment of one inch giving you that adjustability that you're looking for so you can tow trailers of different heights all with the same vehicle. So with the two and 5/16 inch hitch ball, the gross towing capacity is gonna be 21,000 pounds. With the two inch ball, it's 8,000 pounds and this unit has a maximum tongue weight of 2200 pounds. This hitch is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, giving you superior strength and durability. And this features a really great looking black Cerakote finish.
It's a ceramic coating that's going to give you an extra layer of corrosion resistance, scratch protection, and durability. So not only is this going to look great on the back of your vehicle, but if you tow in harsh environments such as salty winter roads or extreme weather conditions, this durable finish is going to help protect this hitch. It's gonna keep it looking great and it's also gonna keep this working properly for many years to come. Now this does feature a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow balls very simple. So let me remove this included rubber cap here that protects the keyway there.
I'm gonna insert one of the keys, give it a turn, and then that's going to allow me to easily remove our lock. While I have this removed, I'm gonna turn that key back and remove it. So that's turned back to the locked position. Also, I wanted to point out that these pins are aluminum along with the housing here. And then our lock is plated steel.
So this is gonna hold up really well against the elements. You're not gonna have to worry about corrosion, but I wanted you to notice just how easily this ball platform is going to slide up and down on the shank. And I'm gonna go ahead and swap this out to the two inch ball here. And so very easy to swap that out. And then I'm gonna bring this around here so you can see and get my slider lock here. And then I'm just going to match up, line up the holes here and it just slides in very easily. And if you notice, just push that in. And now that we're locked into place, so I don't need the key in the keyway there to lock that into place. So what I like about this is you're not going to be at the back of your vehicle struggling to get that height adjustment that you're looking for or to get that tow ball size that you need. It's going to operate very smoothly and very easily for you. Another added benefit that I really appreciate is this hitch pin lock and you are going to get four keys and everything is key to like, so one key will operate the dual pin slider lock and the same key will operate this hitch pin lock. So the same with this is you don't need to keep the key inside the lock to lock this up. I just turned it back to that locked position and then when you're ready to lock this up, you just push it firmly together and it's locked into place. And then I don't know if I remember, I don't remember mentioning about this cap, but that cap's gonna protect that keyway. So you've got really double protection here. That slider lock is going to secure your ball platform to the shank and then the hit pin lock is going to secure this to the back of your vehicle. So it's really gonna be a great protection to the investment that you're making here. Let me give you some measurements in case you we inchesre wondering about clearance issues or anything like that. Measuring from the center of our ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole, we're sitting about eight and a half inches. And then moving to the center of our second hitch pin hole about nine and five eights inches. And then from the second, the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about one in seven eight inches. This is SAE J684 certified and VESC regulation V-5 compliant. So if you are looking for a hitch, that's going to be really a great long-term investment for you. That's going to give you flexibility, safety, durability, and as you saw, it's gonna be very easy to use. This is really gonna be an excellent option for you to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
This Cerakote finished W/S hitch is made in the USA and worth the extra cost IMO; recommend getting either the 6in or the 8in Drop for flexibility. 2200lb hitch and 18.5K LB tow rating is plenty for my RAM, 6.7 Cummins, 3/4 ton with 2.5inch receiver. I highly recommend this hitch.
I recently used the Weigh Safe Cerakote Coated 180 Hitch with a 6" drop on a 1,300-mile trip, and it was fantastic. It handled everything—road grime, snow, salt, and mud—without ever looking dull or dingy.
The dual-ball design makes switching between trailers super easy, and the adjustable drop works perfectly to keep everything level. It was simple to install and felt solid and secure the whole trip. The locking pins kept everything safely attached to my truck, no worries about someone walking away with it. If you need a tough, reliable hitch that looks great and gets the job done, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
